This Privacy Policy explains how Project Timothy Christian Service Center (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit projecttimothy.org (the “Site”) or otherwise interact with us online.
By using our Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We collect information in three main ways:
a. Information you choose to provide
You may give us personal information directly when you:
- Fill out a contact or volunteer form

This information may include:

When you use our Site, our web hosting provider may automatically collect basic technical information such as:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Approximate location (city/region)
- Device and operating system
- Pages you visit and the time and date of your visit
We use this information primarily to operate and secure the Site and to understand how people use it. We do not currently use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent this information.
c. Information from third parties
If you donate or register through a third-party service (such as a payment processor or email service), they may share limited information with us as needed to process your donation or manage your subscription.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your questions and requests
- Manage volunteer inquiries and follow-up
- Process and acknowledge donations
- Send you updates about our programs, if you choose to receive them
- Maintain and improve the Site and its security

We only use your personal information for purposes that are compatible with these, unless we obtain your permission for something different.
3. When we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We may share information:
- With service providers that help us operate the Site or our organization (for example: website hosting, email services, payment processors). These providers may only use your information to perform services on our behalf.
- As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process.
- To protect rights and safety, such as when we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud, enforce our agreements, or protect the safety of individuals.
- When you choose to contact us about volunteering using the email button on the Site, your message is sent using standard email. These emails are not end-to-end encrypted, so you should avoid including highly sensitive personal information.
- When you make an online donation, your payment is processed securely by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). Stripe collects and processes your payment card information on our behalf. We do not receive or store full card numbers or CVV codes on this Site.
If we ever consider any additional sharing, we will update this Policy and, where legally required, ask for your consent.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Our Site may use basic cookies or similar technologies to:
- Remember certain preferences (such as language selection)
- Help ensure the Site is functioning properly
At this time, we do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking. If that changes in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, provide you with choices or obtain consent.
5. How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect the personal information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a data incident that affects your personal information, we will take steps consistent with applicable laws to notify you and limit any potential harm.
6. Your choices
You have certain choices about how we use your information:
- Email communications: You can ask to stop receiving non-essential emails from us at any time by following unsubscribe instructions in the message (if available) or contacting us directly.

If you visit a third-party site, their terms and privacy policy will apply. We encourage you to review their privacy policy before providing them with any personal information.
